A dispute between MedAlliance and Health Images over the sizeof an earnout payment has been settled in MedAlliance's favor,Atlanta-based Health Images reported this month. The dispute wasrelated to Health Images' acquisition of 15 MedAlliance

A dispute between MedAlliance and Health Images over the sizeof an earnout payment has been settled in MedAlliance's favor,Atlanta-based Health Images reported this month. The dispute wasrelated to Health Images' acquisition of 15 MedAlliance centers(SCAN 8/16/95).

Arbitrator Arthur Andersen & Co. ruled that MedAlliance,of Brentwood, TN, is entitled to the entire $8.25 million thatwas at stake. The arbitrator also awarded Health Images $2.2 millionin indemnification claims against MedAlliance, however. The finalamount Health Images owes MedAlliance is $6.2 million.

MedAlliance, formerly known as ImageAmerica, last month filedarticles of dissolution with the state of Tennessee as part ofthe company's plan for liquidation and dissolution.
