Under the terms of the new deal, Siemens will contribute$15 million toward a three-year collaborative research programto upgrade Imatron's C-150 CT scanner, marketed by Siemens asEvolution EBT. Siemens will also cancel a $4 million loan to Imatronfor the transfer of Imatron patents to Siemens.
