After a brief hiatus from the radiology industry, Lothar Koob is back. Koob, who served a stint as president and CEO of Humphrey Systems, has joined Analogic. In his new position as Analogic executive vice president, Koob will be second in command to the company's president. Before taking the helm of Humphrey Systems, a leading manufacturer of ophthalmology devices, Koob served as director of the MR and then ultrasound divisions of Siemens. In the latter position, he was instrumental in the development of Siemens' premium ultrasound scanner, Sonoline Elegra.
