Anthony Lombardo is reportedly leaving his position as head ofLockheed Martin Western Development Laboratories Medical ImagingSystems, according to sources close to the Hoffman Estates, IL,PACS developer. Lombardo is a former veteran of Philips' CommViewPACS project and has led the Lockheed Martin unit since its earlierincarnation, Loral Medical Imaging Systems (SCAN 9/14/94). Theunit became a part of Lockheed Martin after the defense contractorbought Loral earlier this year. Lockheed Martin representativesdeclined to comment on Lombardo's reported departure.
