Imaging services provider Medcrossis joining forces with Magnecel Services (MSI) to access the potentiallylucrative Asia-Pacific market. The two companies have formed ajoint venture firm, Medpacific, to sell and service Elscint medicalimaging equipment and linear accelerators.
The move is a logical step for the companies, both of whichare based in Florida. Medcross recently signed a joint ventureagreement with the Chinese Health Ministry to import CT scannersinto China, while third-party service provider Magnecel is theexclusive Florida sales and service organization for Elscint medicalimaging products.
Medcross is the majority shareholder in the venture.
