Imaging services provider Medical Resources has entered the Californiamarket with the acquisition of two imaging centers in the state.The Hackensack, NJ, company announced last week that it has completedthe purchases of a multimodality center in San Clemente and anMRI facility in Long Beach. Medical Resources expects the centersto provide the foundation for further expansion in Southern California,according to president and COO William Farrell. Medical Resourcesnow operates a total of 42 imaging centers.

Also last month, Medical Resources closed the acquisition of animaging center based in Melbourne, FL.
