A new CT injection system promises unprecedented performance, according to its developer Medrad. The Stellant Injection System features saline flush, a pressure monitor graph, improved syringe design, syringe autoload, and the ability to upgrade from single to dual injection. Its ability to precisely deliver contrast fluid under multiple CT protocols matches the speed of the new class of multidetector CT scanners. Stellant is considered especially suited to trauma, angiography, and cardiology exams, which incorporate demanding protocols with saline flush capability.
