Telemedicine vendor MedVision of Minneapolis has been named the sole software vendor for a statewide demonstration and evaluation of narrow-bandwidth telemedicine applications in Alaska. Sponsored by the National Library of Medicine, the demonstration will be based at the University of Alaska, Anchorage, which will provide telemedicine services to four regional hospitals and 25 remote villages in western Alaska.
