placement of $2 million in stock to investors from Wisconsin and
Illinois, the Milwaukee company reported last month. The funds
will be used to support Merge's growth, specifically, to finance
the marketing of a new product line and to develop additional
new products. Merge introduced MergeAPS, a multimodality laser
print server with a digital archiving option, at last year's Radiological
Society of North America meeting.
