Meta Solutions of Linthicum, MD, this month announced a million-dollar deal with Howtek of Hudson, NH, to buy 100 of Howtek's MultiRad CCD x-ray film digitizers. The units will be delivered over the next twelve months and will convert x-ray film data into digital electronic form for use in teleradiology or PACS. Meta Solutions is a distributor for products from Dutch PACS developer Applicare Medical Imaging.
