MeVis embeds interactivity in PDF reports
Germany-based MeVis Medical Solutions has launched a new, interactive reporting format for preoperative planning of liver surgery. Using an Adobe PDF format, the company now can build into custom reports 3D images that may be enlarged and rotated in all planes without the need for special software. The company, which quantifies measurements and processes imaging data to assist surgeons in preoperative planning, said the new format for liver interventions precisely presents tumor volumetry, complex vascularization, and at-risk vascular territories.
