Webmedx has launched an ASP-based mammography tracking service as part of its Clinical Information Portal suite of products and services (HNN 10/18/00). The Webmedx Mammography Reporting Service enables providers to collect, report, track, and analyze mammograms and facilitate patient and peer communication on a per-transaction basis. The electronic chart component of the service also provides referring physicians with immediate Internet access to reports and allows the reports to be stored in any legacy information system via an HL7 interface.
