The University of Southern California has been awarded a $22.2 million federal grant to develop the new centralized clearinghouse for healthcare informatics data.

The University of Southern California has been awarded a $22.2 million federal grant to develop the new centralized clearinghouse for healthcare informatics data. Funded by the National Center for Research Resources, a component institute of the National Institutes of Health, the Biomedical Informatics Research Network Coordinating Center (BIRNCC) at USC will collect and integrate a wide range of biomedical data that will be made more accessible to physicians and researchers.
