Netherlands-based Royal Philips Electronics’ board of management reorganized its business structure in June, reallocating the activities of its Business Electronics division to other units. Business Electronics was formerly organized under Philips’ professional segment, along with Philips Medical Systems. With the reorganization, Philips Medical Systems is now the only division within the professional segment. The change may make it easier to track the financial performance of the medical systems division.
