PET developer Positron of Houston announced last week that ithas signed an agreement worth over $2 million to sell two PETcameras to an import-export firm in China. The first system isscheduled to be delivered by the end of this year and will beinstalled in a hospital in Shanghai. The second camera will beshipped in early 1997.
In other news, Positron CEO Werner Haas said the company is movingforward in its effort to close the purchase of the PET assetsof GE Medical Systems. Positron expects the deal to close by theend of the year, Haas said.
