PSS World Medical struck again July 2 with the announcement that its Diagnostic Imaging subsidiary has purchased the assets of North Central X-Ray of Danville, PA. A private medical imaging and equipment distributor, North Central X-Ray claims annual revenues of $12 million.

The North Central deal continues Jacksonville, FL-based PSS World’s energetic strategy of establishing an operations base across the U.S. Last month, the company signed an agreement with Medical Imaging Services of Little Rock, AR, a medical imaging distributor with revenues of $18 million (SCAN 6/24/98).
