Netherlands-based PACS vendor Rogan Medical Systems has landed the Academic Hospital Groningen as a client. The hospital, one of the largest and most modern in the country, will soon install Rogan’s HyperPACS software as the foundation for its PACS. The core of the multimillion-dollar HyperPACS installation is an expandable HyperArchive capable of storing tens of terabytes of image data. All images generated by present GE, Philips, Siemens, and Agfa modalities will be stored in a standard DICOM format in the archive.
