Sagemark has entered the medical imaging industry, sort of. The financial services company has completed its deal to acquire Premier PET Imaging International, which is dedicated to the establishment and operation of outpatient diagnostic imaging centers. The only caveat is that Premier PET has yet to open a diagnostic imaging center-its first one is still under construction in Wichita, KS. The center is expected to begin operating in July. Sagemark executives plan to add more PET centers throughout the U.S.
