Siemens Medical Systems is sponsoring a redesigned version of the award-winning Imaginis breast health Web site in conjunction with National Breast Cancer Awareness Month.

The site (www.imaginis.com) includes a new section created specifically for healthcare professionals involved in women's health‹administrators, mammography technologists, radiologists, ultrasound technologists, ob/gyn physicians, and nurses.

The Internet initiative is an outgrowth of Siemens e.Health group, created earlier this year to electronically enable Siemens' healthcare businesses and to create new business opportunities in disease and health management. The initiative includes the $2.1 million purchase of Shared Medical Systems (SCAN, 5/10/00), a provider of healthcare information systems and solutions.
