The Leeds Teaching Hospitals NHS Trust has taken delivery of 27 SonoSite hand-carried ultrasound systems. Included in the package sale are three high-performance Titan multipurpose systems and 24 iLook 25 units, which are designed to assist vascular access. The systems are being spread among multiple hospital sites in the region. The trust, one of the largest in the U.K., is composed of 15,000 staff employed across eight sites that treat a total of 125,000 inpatients, 65,000 day cases, and 700,000 outpatients annually.
