Sony has unveiled at RSNA 2008 a printer designed specifically for digital mammography.

Sony has unveiled at RSNA 2008 a printer designed specifically for digital mammography. The new product, called FilmStation Mammography Film Imager, model UP-DF750, features a high-resolution thermal printing system that uses specially engineered blue thermal high-density film. The printer can generate up to 90 sheets in an hour at a resolution of 606 dots per inch.
