StorageTek will continue to outsource to EDS a portion of its IT infrastructure, application maintenance, and support as part of a contract extension agreed upon by the two companies. The agreement also includes basic call center functions that are part of StorageTek's global services. As a result of the deal, which is valued at more than $300 million over the next 10 years, approximately 300 StorageTek employees will be offered positions with EDS.
