Personnel changes continue at Trex Medical. The company last month made several management changes in its Bennett X-Ray and Continental X-Ray divisions, just weeks after longtime chief executive Hal Kirshner left the company. In the most recent moves, Trex appointed Walt Schneider, former president of Bennett, to the post of president of the Danbury, CT, firm's combined Continental and Bennett operations. Trex also elected Kevin Hesselbirg, former controller at Bennett, to handle financial responsibility for both Trex divisions. Continental's president, Patrick Fitzgerald, and its COO, Dick Balla, stepped down. The company has also moved to cut staff positions across Continental's departments, according to William Webb, president and CEO of Trex Medical.
