Imaging services firm US Diagnostic Labs has signed agreementsto buy controlling interests in two center companies, one a multimodalityimaging center and the other a radiation therapy company.

USDL of West Palm Beach, FL, announced this month that it intendsto purchase an 80% stake in Charleston Diagnostic Imaging of Charleston,SC. The center has revenues of $3.6 million and net income ofover $800,000 annually.

In addition, USDL agreed to buy a 50.1% interest in RadiationOncology Centers for $2.6 million. ROC operates three radiationtherapy centers in Northern California. USDL, which manages 15wholly owned or majority-owned centers, said that it intends toexpand into oncology practice management.
