U.S. Diagnostic Labs this month changed its name to U.S. Diagnostic

Inc. to reflect the company's focus on the imaging services industry.

A spokesperson for the West Palm Beach, FL, company said that

in its early days, USDL owned several clinical blood labs, in

addition to imaging centers. The blood labs were divested this

year, and the company decided that having "Labs" in

its name no longer reflected its new mission. U.S. Diagnostic's

stock symbol on the NASDAQ exchange remains USDL.
