Former Toshiba America Medical Systems executive Dean Winter has joined Siemens Ultrasound as vice president of sales, a new position created after the Issaquah, WA, vendor restructured its sales force late last year. Siemens will maintain a dedicated ultrasound sales force, but that force reports to Siemens Medical Systems headquarters in Iselin, NJ, rather than to Siemens Ultrasound, as it did previously. Siemens made the change in its sales and service organizations to take advantage of the company’s broad product line and business offerings, while at the same time maintaining dedicated sales and service operations, Winter said.
