Medical imaging equipment refurbisher Access Medical Equipment Group of Farmingdale, NY, changed ownership this month when its co-founder and president, Rod Harryman, retired. The companys new owners are John Reed, president, CEO, and co-founder of the firm; Scott Harryman, vice president of imaging sales; and Bill Carhart, vice president of modality sales. Access Medical was founded in 1987, and has 50 employees. It sells preowned and refurbished medical diagnostic imaging systems, and serves not only the U.S., but also Central and South America and China. Access Medical expects revenues of $20 million this year.
