AccuImage Diagnostics is moving to the University of California, San Francisco, Radiologic Imaging Laboratory (RIL) in South San Francisco. It will be a return to familiar surroundings for AccuImage CEO Leon Kaufman, Ph.D., who spent much of his career at RIL designing MRI equipment for Toshiba and Diasonics. AccuImage’s staff has tripled since February, and the company needs a larger and more convenient space. Kaufman said RIL will be an ideal location in which the growing medical image software company can expand.
