Film and PACS company Agfa of Ridgefield Park, NJ, has made several changes to its executive ranks in the last several months. The company has promoted Robert Cooke to director of network solutions systems. Cooke takes over responsibilities once held by Vishal Wanchoo, who left Agfa to lead GE's PACS effort (SCAN 12/17/97).

Former Kodak veteran Thomas Boon has joined Agfa as director of film systems, which includes film products and processors. Ralph Andreas has been named director of hardcopy imaging systems with responsibilities for Agfa's laser and dry printers, duties formerly held by Wanchoo.

Finally, Agfa veteran Robert Schultz has been promoted to director of national distribution dealer channels. Schultz will coordinate Agfa's dealer activities as the company shifts toward dealer distribution for much of its product line, such as film sales, while focusing its direct sales force on electronic imaging products like PACS.

On the international side, Allyn Ford has taken over international product marketing duties for PACS from Don Jubell. Ford will be based in Mortsel, Belgium.
