Film and PACS vendor Agfa of Ridgefield Park, NJ, has signed an agreement with dealer organization Diagnostic Imaging of Jacksonville, FL, for distribution of Agfa's medical film and film processors. Diagnostic Imaging will sell products under the Curix, Scopix, Mamoray, and Cinerex trade names, as well as Agfa's Drystar 2000 dry film processor.

The deal is part of a new strategy Agfa is implementing, in which the company focuses its direct field sales force on PACS and digital image management products, while external distribution channels like Diagnostic Imaging are added to handle film and film-based products.
