Brigham and Women’s Hospital has begun testing a cardiac workstation developed by Agfa. The workstation, which includes echocardiography and nuclear cardiology features, is designed for use with Agfa’s Impax Cardiology image and information management system. The goal of the system is to allow a one-stop shop for viewing images from multiple modalities. Ultimately, the system will be expanded to display chest radiographs, cardiac cath studies, and MRI.
