Agfa has signed a $3.2 million contract with the Department of Veterans Affairs to supply computed radiography equipment in the form of analog-to-digital converter compact cassettes for the next year.

ADC compact cassettes are used when clinicians want to translate a traditional x-ray into a digital image.

The ADC compact autoprocessing software captures incoming raw images and delivers high-quality diagnostic images. The software provides fully processed computed radiography images that are ready to display. The ADC compact cassette contains a photostimulable phosphor imaging plate. The cassette and plate are compatible with x-ray tables. The ADC cassettes complement other computed radiography equipment Agfa sells to the VA.
