Low-volume imaging facilities are the intended beneficiaries of Algotec's Web-based PACS product called ImagiNet Lite. The product, launched at SCAR, is designed for freestanding clinics, small centers, and hospitals that perform fewer than 75,000 procedures annually. With a sticker price of under $100,000, the new product is intended to appeal to smaller practices with limited budgets, according to the company. The product is based on the same software as Algotec's standard ImagiNet PACS.
