Web-based PACS provider Amicas will provide Metropolitan Diagnostic Management with an enterprise-wide medical image management system. Metropolitan, a provider of medical imaging services, has four sites in the New York City area, one each in Manhattan, Brooklyn, Queens, and Long Island. The chain of centers will use Amicas PACS as its primary tool for medical image interpretation. An Amicas server will connect each of the imaging centers, allowing radiologists to access patient medical imaging studies in any one of Metropolitan's sites.
