The HDI 3000 scanner developed by ultrasound vendor Advanced TechnologyLaboratories won first place in an international design competition,the Bothell, WA, company said last month. HDI 3000 beat out 112other entrants in the fifth annual Pro/USER conference in Orlando,FL. The award was based on creativity, technical merit, overalldesign and use of computer-aided design (CAD) software.
