Barco Display Systems has signed a joint marketing agreement with Dicomit DICOM Information Technologies of Ontario, Canada. In addition to co-marketing their products to potential OEM customers, the two firms will integrate their technologies. In other Barco news, the Kortrijk, Belgium-based company has been awarded a contract from the ASAN Foundation of Korea, under which Barco will supply its high-resolution displays to a 4600-bed hospital in Korea. The sale represents the firm's first major business opportunity in the Asian medical imaging market, according to Barco.
