Beckett to lead Philips MR and CT

James Beckett has been promoted to group director of MR/CT marketing for Philips Medical Systems North America of Shelton, CT. Beckett fills a position made vacant by the departure of Christopher Farr, who was named head of the vendor's Canadian operations earlier this year. Beckett's previous position was COO and vice president of Philips in Tokyo.
