DVI builds more financing steam

Medical Imaging financing companyDVI of Irvine, CA, gave a boost to its new program offering private-labelfinancing services to equipment vendors with the purchase lastmonth of Medical Device Capital Company of San Diego (SCAN 2/16/94and 6/16/93). MDCC provides financing and marketing services tomedical device companies.

Acquisition of MDCC continues DVI's planned expansion in medicalfinancing. The firm's scanner financing volume picked up dramaticallylast year with the purchase of Medical Equipment Financing (MEFC),a Horsham, PA, leasing company run by several former principalsof medical imaging lessor U.S. Concord.
