For the 1995 fiscal year, Fischer reported net earnings of$2.3 million on the strength of $76.8 million in sales. The performancewas a notable improvement over fiscal 1994, when the company lost$5.6 million on sales of $68.5 million. CEO Morgan Nields attributedthe turnaround to an improved sales mix and global sales growth,as well as gains made through OEM deals and internal cost-cuttingmeasures.
