GE this month finalized its acquisition of almost 20% of ultrasound miniPACS developer ALI Technologies of Richmond, British Columbia. The equity purchase was made through GE's subsidiary, General Electric Canada, which bought nearly two million shares of ALI stock. The purchase represents 19.6% of shares in ALI, which also has a technology and marketing agreement with GE Medical Systems of Milwaukee (SCAN 4/2/97).
