GE Medical Systems has notched another multimillion-dollar PACS sale. The Mt. Prospect, IL-based vendor's Integrated Imaging Solutions division has been awarded a $2.3 million contract to install and service a PACS at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center in New York City. GE's first step will be to install four high-resolution diagnostic workstations and three clinical viewing workstations, which will be located in several hospital departments. Modalities such as CT, MR, angiography, and CR will be linked to the PACS. The site's networking service needs will be handled through GE's HealthNet Services business.
