Hewlett-Packard has appointed David Kolstad worldwide sales and marketing manager for its ultrasound imaging systems division. An eight-year HP veteran, Kolstad most recently served as manager of product marketing for general ultrasound imaging, where he led the introduction of the Andover, MA-based vendor's ImagePoint multispecialty ultrasound scanner (SCAN Special Report 12/96). Kolstad will now head up worldwide marketing of all the vendor's ultrasound products, including the Sonos cardiovascular ultrasound product family.
