Technology developed by SmartPACS of Irvington, NJ, has been installed at Jennie Stuart Medical Center in Hopkinsville, KY. Image Management Group, the area's local SmartPACS dealer, has signed a five-year contract with the 194-bed rural acute care hospital to provide comprehensive PACS management and maintenance services.

Kentucky's Baptist Healthcare System has gone digital. Agfa has installed its IMPAX Enterprise PACS and WEB1000 at the five-hospital enterprise. The installation of IMPAX in 1997 at Western Baptist in Paducah was the first step, according to the company.
