Michael W. Jackman has been named chief technology officer and a divisional vice president for Kodak's Health Imaging Group. He will lead Health Imaging's global R&D operation with a strategic focus on delivering new technology, products, and services by leveraging intellectual property and technology investments, according to the company. Jackman will also steer the design, development, and expansion of Health Imaging's digital product portfolio. Jackman was founder and CEO of a consulting firm specializing in technology development and strategy for companies in the wireless, IP telephony, security, and software infrastructure areas. He has held top marketing, sales, and development positions at various technology companies including IBM. Health Imaging is Kodak's second-largest business, with annual revenue of more than $2.3 billion.
