Marconi Medical Systems has appointed Jerry Cirino to the post of executive vice president of its global sales and service division. Cirino will handle all of Marconi’s sales and service activity worldwide for medical imaging products, including those sold through international subsidiaries.

Cirino joined Marconi in 1984. Prior to his appointment to executive vice president, Cirino served as president of Marconi’s Picker Healthcare Products business. In that capacity, he oversaw the acquisition of six companies and increased the unit’s sales to $600 million annually.
