Medical imaging simulation firm MedSim of Kfar Sava, Israel, has acquired Eagle Simulation of Binghamton, NY. The deal improves MedSims market position and expands its product line to include Eagles PatSim, a computer-controlled mannequin with cardiac, pulmonary, metabolic, and physiologic simulation functions. With the acquisition, MedSims worldwide installations will grow to more than 120 systems, and its annual consolidated sales will increase from $3.5 million to $8 million. Eagle will add 25 employees to MedSims roster, according to the company.
