Merge DICOM interface to go into Philips’ products

Merge Technologies has signed a long-term contract with Philips Medical Systems to supply its ExamWorks DICOM-based workflow product for integration into Philips’ surgical C-arm product, to enable faster and more secure image transfer between the surgical suite and workstations throughout the hospital. Surgeons will be able to automatically export images to any DICOM printer attached to the network, which is expected to enhance workflow. Philips will market the Merge product under its own label, the DICOM 3.0 Workflow Interface. Merge and Philips have a long-standing strategic alliance.
