Molecular Imaging Services has signed an agreement to establish a commercial radiopharmaceutical production unit at Keele University Science Park in Staffordshire, U.K. The unit will produce PET radiopharmaceuticals. MIS was established in 2002 as a joint venture between Phoenix-based Alliance Medical and Dublin-based M2i. Its primary goal is to establish a number of such production units to support the expanded use of PET in the U.K.
