North American Imaging (NAI) Technology Products has decided to discontinue production of the Aspect Mini Imager, a multiformat video film camera, according to Paul Dempster, general manager of NAI. The company will focus its efforts on DICOM and video interface products planned for introduction later this year. NAI was among the last manufacturers of multiformat video film cameras. Demand for these systems has evaporated with a shift in the market toward laser printers and soft-copy reading.
