Merge eFilm has released an enhanced version of ExamWorks, a software package designed to expand the Integrating the Healthcare Enterprise workflow capabilities of legacy modalities such as CT, MR, and ultrasound. Version 1.4 promises improved productivity through updated features, including the Prospective Modality Worklist, which streamlines procedure selections before acquiring images, and DICOM Compressed Output, which simplifies system configuration to output compressed images to storage targets, potentially increasing network throughput and reducing digital image storage costs.
